Puspha Riders

Company Name: Puspha Riders (“Company”, “We”, “Us”, “Our”) Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application “Puspha Riders” and related services (“Services”). By accessing or using our App, you agree to the practices described below.

1. Nature of Relationship

  • The Company operates a technology platform connecting Riders with Pilots (Drivers).
  • The Driver is an independent contractor and not an employee of the Company.
  • This Agreement does not create any employer-employee or partnership relationship.

2. Driver Obligations

  • Maintain valid driving license, vehicle registration, insurance, fitness certificate, and permits.
  • Comply with all traffic laws, Motor Vehicles Act, and state transport rules.
  • Ensure vehicle is roadworthy, clean, and safe.
  • Behave professionally — no harassment, abuse, or discrimination toward Riders.
  • Not engage in illegal activities, including carrying contraband or unauthorized passengers.

3. Registration on Platform

  • Meet onboarding criteria and provide required documents as requested by Puspha Riders.
  • You represent, affirm, and agree that:
    • You have at least 2 years of driving experience.
    • No pending proceedings or convictions related to driving under influence, fraud, theft, violence, or any cognizable offence under BNSS (formerly IPC).
    • All vehicle challans are cleared prior to integration with the platform.
    • Register on the App with accurate personal, contact, and bank details.
    • You are solely responsible for maintaining confidentiality of login credentials.
    • Puspha Riders will not be liable for unauthorized access caused by negligence.

4. Required Documents

  • Valid Driving License (2-wheeler with transport endorsement, if required).
  • Vehicle Registration Certificate (RC).
  • Valid Insurance Certificate (third-party or comprehensive).
  • Pollution Under Control (PUC) Certificate.
  • Aadhaar / PAN / other Government ID for KYC verification.
  • Passport-size Photograph.
Additional Requirements:
  • Background Verification: Police and address verification may be conducted.
  • Vehicle Inspection: Safety and fitness checks may be required.
  • Onboarding & Training: Attendance may be required for app usage and safety training.
  • Driver account activation follows completion and approval of all steps.

5. Eligibility Criteria

  • Be at least 18 years old.
  • Hold a valid two-wheeler driving license.
  • Own or legally possess a bike/scooter with valid registration and permits.
  • Possess valid insurance (minimum third-party coverage).
  • Ensure the vehicle is not older than [X years] (as decided by the Company).
  • Be physically fit and not disqualified under the Motor Vehicles Act.
  • Maintain a clean driving and criminal record.
  • Comply with all traffic and Company regulations.

6. Location Access

We require access to your device’s location for:

  • Matching you with nearby orders.
  • Navigating delivery routes.
  • Providing real-time tracking features.

Location data is collected only while the app is in use and with your explicit permission.

7. Data Sharing

We do not sell or share personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Information may be shared only:

  • With internal support/admin teams for issue resolution.
  • When required by law enforcement or government authorities.

8. Data Security

We implement reasonable security measures to protect your data against unauthorized access or misuse. However, no internet-based system is completely secure.

9. User Rights

  • Access your personal data.
  • Request correction of inaccurate or outdated data.
  • Request deletion of your account and related information.
